Hello… My name is David Paul Cowley, I’m 58 years old and have lived and worked on the Isle Of Man all my life. I’m a qualified painter, decorator and sign writer, but my other passion in life has always been creating artwork in one form or another. I’m a self taught artist and have been carrying out artwork since i was a youngster. Ive been very honoured and privileged to carry out lots of artwork for customers on a commissioned basis, which has seen my artwork being located all over the world, from the USA, Australia, Denmark, Ireland, Wales, United Kingdom and of course the Isle Of Man.

I love working in all mediums, pencil, watercolour, acrylic and oil paints. But if i was to be honest i think my favourite medium to work with is pencil. I love the simplicity of always carrying a sketch pad with me wherever i go and a small selection of my favourite pencils to work with. The Isle Of Man is a beautiful place to live and work and offers the roaming artist a large abundance of subjects, including beautiful landscapes, historic buildings and grand architecture.
